Here a Festival, There a Festival....

Everywhere a festival!

Tokyo seems to have it all when it comes to expression whether it be through music, theatre, cosplay, fashion, fetishes, art....you name it. There seems to be a niche for everything and anything imaginable...and unimaginable. If done correctly, you may find the darkest, deepest corners of the creative world that will satisfy your darkest and deepest urges...even by accident...or so we've been told;) Luckily for Groundplay Entertainment, we don't need to go to such lengths to find establishments that will exhibit our passions.

As you all know (if you have been following that is), we are currently in production of Kings of Karaoke and have been diligently trying to get the word out. With that said, it has been quite an eventful week for us and that makes us happy. Here we go:

1. Our first website for the Kings of Karaoke movie is officially up and running. You will find the Groundplay Entertainment bio, cast bios, synopsis, trailer and more. Please visit us and feel free to make any comments/suggestions as we would love to hear from you. Check it out here:

2. We have entered the Tokyo Fringe Festival and will be showing our previous work "My Ex-Girlfriend's TV" along with the trailer for the "Kings of Karaoke" movie on May 31st, 2009. however, we received word that the site is under construction and will be updated shortly. In the meantime, please feel free to check it out at:

We will update you as things develop...

3. We have also entered the Tokyo Design Festa Vol. 29 on May 17th, 2009 to promote the movie and show My Ex-Girlfriend's TV as well. On top of that, we have been selected out of 100's of applicants to be interviewed during the festival. It is a very large event that allows artists from around the world to display their creativity and share it with the public. It is certain that everyone will witness something that will boggle their minds. However, that is not the reaction we are going for; we would be content with generating interest in our movie and that is what we intend to do. We have generated a lot of ideas on how we are going to present ourselves, but more on that in a later blog. In the meantime, please check out their website at:

That is all for now. We have a lot more in store to share with you in the future so please sit tight and check back for future blogs. For now, please check out the websites and enjoy.

Stay Rockin!!!
